I was a guest of Brugal Rum and Shaw Ross Importers in Puerta Plata to tour their distillery and enjoy a few days in the sun. The Dominican is a beautiful country; a place I would love to return to with my kids.

tenaciously > Art at the beach, around 2AM. It was our first night there and we wanted to see as much of the resort as we could.

tenaciously > Our entrance to the Brugal bottling plant. While we were there as guests, there were buses of tourists coming as well. It is a popular attraction on the island.

tenaciously > The beginning of our tour. The warning is appropriate. There are millions of gallons of Rum in the plant-a spark of any kind would not be good!

tenaciously > An overhead view of the bottling line. It is a very new, very modern facility.
