This was from the last Arts Festival that the ABSOLUT Spirits Company decided to sponsor ( a spirits company traditionally sponsored it due to the enormous amount of restaurants on Main Street). It had two components: a consumer activity/exhibition called ABSOLUT Chalk, where the general public was invited to draw chalk portraits, and a restaurant event. All restaurants were invited to decorate an ABSOLUT bottle. It is both with relief and sadness that ABSOLUT no longer sponsors this event; while the work involved setting up this event won't be missed, it was always a great way to endear restaurants to our company in a wonderful part of the city.

tenaciously > The winning bottle design! From On the Rox on Shurs Lane. I think ASCI bought this one. I could not get a shot without the flasburst (it was encased in a mirror).
tenaciously > The beginning of the Festival. Consumers sign up for the chalk drawing contest. I took no pictures of the actual contest; I was more interested in the restaurant contest (i.e. my customers).
tenaciously > The infamous inflatable ABSOLUT bottle! If I never have to help set this up again, I will be a very happy person!
tenaciously > A funky bottle decoration from the U.S. Hotel. I am still not sure what the theme was, or how it connected to the restaurant (most were either based on their respective bar theme, or focused on the city).
tenaciously > The other side of the bottle from the U.S. Hotel.
tenaciously > From Tonic. A mosaic, but once again not sure of the theme.
tenaciously > Cafe Zesty, a Greek restaurant, dresses up their bottle like a proper gentleman.
tenaciously > Le Bus funks up their bottle-it fits in well with their collection of infusion jars.
tenaciously > Bella Trattoria decides to turn their bottle into a fishbowl (the lucky fish got a reprieve from being a menu feature!)
